August 29, 200620 yr http://p092.ezboard.com/fbrewersfandemoniu...cID=12924.topic Amazing how so many fans of opposing teams are getting hooked. One person in that thread said this "I was even thinking at work today about possibly wearing my Marlins hat to the games this weekend - but I really don't think I have it in me to do such a thing." :thumbup Feel free to post other links that go along with this. I have seen a few around the League.
August 29, 200620 yr I seen things like that in the past, but real fans support their team no matter what and don't care what other ppl say about them.

That mentality will really help make new fans feel welcome. Because of course, we all know that the best thing for the Marlins would be to have only the "real fans" come to games, since they are such a large group in comparison to casual fans and even fairweather fans. Anyone supporting the team in anyway is a good thing.

I'm a brewers fan that posts at bf.net quite a bit (same s/n) and that thread was made more out of frustration than anything. Its not that people there are giving up on the Crew, its more that we just realize that everyone on our team except for Bill Hall/Prince sucks and the Fish are a cool story. I think a lot of people would like to see a team with a $14M payroll make the playoffs.

August 30, 200620 yr " we might as well root for a young team with a low budget. because i doubt we see the brewers there any time soon. It could be worse for us we could have been Pirate fans" :lol
