Boy, do you guys need a bullpen BAD !! :o We also need 3 more starting pitchers, a RFer, and a CFer. But you know what? f*** it. I'm just going to enjoy the last week of the season. How a team with Chris Denorfia, Norris Hopper, and 3 TBA starting pitchers has a chance to make the playoffs is beyond me.

In fact, the bullpen is the SOLE reason were not playing baseball in October this year. There, I said it.

You may have been on to something. I was looking for my first post on him awhile ago and realized, to his credit, Junior mentioned him first. Yeah I went and read all those game wraps, etc on the kid and quickly realized he was one of the best nearly-ready for primetime OFers out there. Watching his aggressiveness at the plate last night impressed me no end. Pitching for an OFer early on in the season would have helped both teams, as our needs matched up well. Perhaps it's something both teams will revisit in the off-season. Speaking of relief pitching, am I alone in thinking Pinto is coming along quite well and is destined to have a successful major league career either here or elsewhere? He seems to carry himself differently now than say a month or so ago.
