October 9, 200619 yr (nhl.com) Panthers Wrap Up Road Trip in Toronto October 8, 2006 ROAD TRIP: The Panthers complete a short two game road trip this evening when they face-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Cats third game in four days. The Panthers went 1-3 against Toronto last season. Tonight is the first of four meetings between the two teams. Florida returns home Wednesday night to take on the defending Stanley Cup Champions Carolina Hurricanes at the BankAtlantic Center. HOMECOMING: Four current Panthers previously played for the Maple Leafs. C Joe Nieuwendyk, LW Gary Roberts, D Ric Jackman, and G Ed Belfour all played a part of their career in Toronto. Belfour was the most recent Maple Leaf having played the past three seasons with Toronto. The Cats signed Belfour this past summer and tonight marks his first visit back to his former club. GO PANTHERS! my prediction: FLA 6 TOR 4
October 9, 200619 yr Time for another solid outing by Auld. Belfour was great and all, but he has no business starting ever again. They should have just kept McClellan.

Noodle was the sh*t (That zamboni video he did is one of the greatest comedies I have ever seen by a sports player) but I'd still take Belfour over Mclennan. I was told Auld will start tonight Good, Auld has been really solid this year including the preseason.
October 10, 200619 yr bulls*** that Belfour's not starting. Poor decision. Yeah, real bulls***. You know that kid Alex Auld ain't bad.
October 10, 200619 yr I hate Cox so much. My FSN has cards on right now, how ghey. I can't wait until we play Tampa so I frickin watch.
October 10, 200619 yr 0-0 after 1 Panthers didnt have many scoring ops, Auld looks good Panthers looked much better than the last game, though. And the scoring oppurtunities were coming late.
