November 9, 200619 yr Belfour's in goal against Jagr and the blueshirts. Looked like a clean hit. Oh well. My goodness that was fast. 1-0 Rangers. Worst defensive positioning ever.
November 9, 200619 yr Author This 1-0 could easily be 3-0 if not for Belfour's play late in the period.
November 9, 200619 yr well the good news is i get to watch this one on TV...we had a sloppy first half there, but at the end of the first we played well
November 9, 200619 yr 1-0 Rangers after one. Belfour was brilliant at the end of that period, though.
November 9, 200619 yr Kill off the PP and take it to OT. Ask and ye shall receive. Great...we got a penalty called against us in the OT... And now the Rangers get called for one to nullify their power play. 3-on-3 hockey!
November 9, 200619 yr No Jagr? If he's not the fourth shooter, the Rangers are the most ignorant hockey team ever. Olli? :| Nylander owns Belfour. 1-0. Horton stoned. Still 1-0. Shannahan for the win... SAVE! Niewyu stoned. Rangers win.
November 9, 200619 yr Lundqvist is a ridiculous 19-19 in stopping shots in the shootout for his career. Geezus christ. Thats one point I will take happily considering how hard fought it was.
November 9, 200619 yr Author Tough one to watch from the Panthers' perspective. Belfour pretty much stood on his head in the 1st period, kept the team in it, and on the other end, you had a goalie who was struggling big time. Weekes started the last three games for the Rangers, two of which were back to back games. There was little confidence in Lundqvist coming into this game on the Rangers' end. So at home, against a team with a struggling goalie and roughly the same record? Of course the Panthers are lucky to salvage a point. :confused
November 9, 200619 yr We were there. What a crazy freaking game. Oh... and I hate it when opposing fans invade our house. Grrr.....
November 9, 200619 yr That was a fun game, it was nice I got to be at the 2 great games in a row (Heat yesterday). Too bad it ended on a bad note.
November 9, 200619 yr Arrggh, they can't ever win a shootout. I remember last year when the Panthers beat the Rangers in a shootout at BAC. The Ranger fans were still chanting "Let's Go Rangers" after the game. I can't imagine what they would do if their team actually won.
