Wasn't this guy a catcher before a pitcher. That young Catcher drafted into the Orioles minor league system in the year 2004 I beleive?

I can tell you this, he's a minor league free agent in the Orioles organization.

Remember Monday is the last day to set the 40 man roster. 1+ ERA in 40+ games in AAA international league, toughest MiLB league.

Thanks. Wow, looks to be a nice pickup for the fish. Any idea what his arsenal contains, and how fast do the scouts clock him?

here's what I dug up on him:

  • 91-93mph fastball
  • good movement due to deceptive delivery
  • solid slider
  • "bulldog" mentality
  • pure stuff isn't good enough to close
  • must improve comman
