Phillies sign Adam Eaton for 3/$24 million

Featured Replies

In yet another instance of FA craziness this year, the Phillies have inked Adam Eaton to a 3 year/24 million deal (with a $9 million option for 2010). In Eaton, the Phillies have landed themselves an injury plagued 5th starter at $8 mil per. This should get consideration as one of the more absurd signings this offseason.

The Phillies are dumb.....

I don't know what happen to eaten but he was once a very promising pitcher, injuries have plagued his major league career, how sad. But atleast he got his payday, and what a way to get it within our division, YES!

damn. 24 million for eaton? where are the owner's getting all this money from? I want some..

This may be the biggest head scratcher yet this offseason.

So far its between this and Randy Wolf getting 8 mill with the Dodgers
