October 10, 200322 yr Hey Marlins Fans... I'm a WSIer who is on the Marlin bandwagon, and I'm telling you as a native Chicagoan that the trendy Cubs fans (not the legitimate die-hards, but a lot of the "johnny-come-lately fans who really don't care about the game) who are going to the Pro tonight are going to outcheer, outscream, and outsupport you guys. I know there will by over 65,000 people in the stands for the next 3 games, but a lot of them won't be cheering for the home team if you know what I mean. Look...here in Chicago, the local press is acting like the entire city is going ga-ga over the Cubs. Well, as you can see from prior posts, that's not the case. There are Chicago White Sox fans like me who are don't want the Cubs to win, and will want to party with y'all in South Beach when the Marlins shock the world and beat the sCrUBS in this NLCS. It's just that it's been so long since the Cubs did anything significant, and that so many people in the press are Cubs fans, that every lead story has something to do with them. I'm sure there are passionate Marlins fans in South Florida just like there are passionate Sox fans up here. Show up at the Pro over the weekend. Hopefully, the Marlins and the Marlins' fans will put the sCrUBS to shame. Here's looking to a Marlins win!!!
October 10, 200322 yr Um...I said it once and I'll say it again. Fans down here in Miami DON'T mess around. The Cubs fans coming down here are asking for it. That's like a freaking death wish. LOL Trust me, the Cub fans WILL be outnumbered this weekend at the PRO.
October 10, 200322 yr we've had to handle Hurricanes, Elian, Scarface :shifty , dead people voting and corrupt a** politics that dont do s***. i think we can handle Cub fans
October 10, 200322 yr A lot of the Cubs fans are probably concentrated in Ft. Lauderdale because the Cubs are staying at the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott Marina on 17th Street Causeway, across the Intercoastal from Pier 66. Attention Las Olas Boulevard residents, beware of blue-clad a**clowns swarming your shopping district.

October 10, 200322 yr One thing you will probably seen Cubs fans at PPS wearing tonight are shirts that read "WE GOT WOOD!" If that isn't a dumb shirt, I don't know what is.
October 10, 200322 yr Cub fan: "We Got Wood" Me (if I were there): "That sounds like a personal problem"
October 10, 200322 yr I hope there are concession stands near the stadium selling the Cork shirts. They're the best, the ones that have the scrubby logo--the big "C" but with ORK instead of UBS in the middle. Also the sosa lumber company shirts. GO MARLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
