We don't have to beat Prior at Wrigley as long as the Marlins take care of business against Clement and Zambrano. The Marlins proved tonight that Wood is beatable, and I think if the Marlins get it back here to Chicago up 3-2, they will find a way to win the series. GO FIGHTIN' FISH!!!

Look, nobody panic, it's only 2-1, and the next 2 games should be wins for the Marlins. And for all of you South Florida Marlins fans around here, remember, the Billy Goat will be heard from before all things are said and done

That's absoultely right...but the more I see and read these Marlins fans post, I am getting to the point where i'm rooting for the Marlins moreso than i'm rooting against the cubs.

I wish us White Sox fans could be this optimistic, but i guess optimism is easier for fans who saw a world series win last 6 years ago than it is for fans who saw a world series win last 86 years ago LOL.
October 11, 200322 yr yeah, people are forgetting that all we needed to do was win one game against prior/wood, provided we beat the sucky zambrano & clement. we already beat zambrano on the road. the next two games, we play zambrano and clement at home.. we should be HEAVILY favored to win these. this isn't a problem. down 1-2 is nothing. the only reason people are down is because the two losses were consecutive, and the first one was a blowout. keep the faith!
October 11, 200322 yr I don't think we're done at all. Tonight's game was one we should have won. But we win the next two and we're in pretty good shape. Guys, it doesn't take a miracle to beat Prior and Wood. IF we lose one of these next two, though...
