October 11, 200322 yr After being at the game, I understand why the Cubs must be hated. The Cubs has to be the worst fans in all sports. One Cub fan sitting 3 rows in front of me, wouldn't sit on the FIRST inning. When someone politely asked to sit, he basicaly gave the finger. He was gone after the first inning. These people were obnoxious and they have this 'in your face' attitude. There were around 20K Cubs fans tonight. How the hell did that happend!!!!!!!!! They had the best sits too, TICKETMASTER SUCKS We better come tomorrow and blow the Cubs out, so we shut this fricking morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 11, 200322 yr i guess most of them live here and were going to the games anyways tomorrow should be more omg
October 11, 200322 yr during the fox telecast you could clearly hear a fan yell "Conine You Suck!" on a ball in the corner... this should NEVER happen at home.
October 11, 200322 yr somebody should have notifide security that he is breaking the family type atmostphere and his a** would have been escorted.
October 11, 200322 yr during the fox telecast you could clearly hear a fan yell "Conine You Suck!" on a ball in the corner... this should NEVER happen at home. Omg cub fans are ridiculous. They are loud, in your face, obnoxious, know nothing about the game, never really watch the game, and are simply annoying. Now you guys see why all of us sox fans, like the ones like me who joined this site, hate the cubs and thier fans so much. They are so terrible, and sadly, cub fans are EVERYWHERE!!! Don't worry guys, it happens in every stadium they play road games at. Just win the next 2 games and shut these morons up!! GO FIGHTIN' FISH!
October 11, 200322 yr I was shocked watching the game today and hearing all the Cubs' fans when they scored in the 11th. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating that was. As for the task at hand, the Marlins need to win tonight (Saturday) and worry about Sunday when it comes. I was reading a Sun-Sentinel notebook item (will be in Sat's edition), that Prior will pitch Game 6... I have no idea if that's true, but if it is that bodes well for a 3-2 lead headed back to Chicago. If the Cubs take Game 4 you'll have an already pissed off White Sox fan even more angry at the game on Sunday. I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE CUBS WIN IN MY BACKYARD!!! I didn't move down here to see this team make a WS appearance in 48 years. The Marlins should have won Friday, but they'll definitely win today. Go Fish!
October 11, 200322 yr It was horrible....The Cubs fans were really pissing me and buddy off so much that he pushed an unsuspecting one down a fight of stairs (Well,he actually just stumpled and fell a couple steps.)...But the soft-Cubbie fan didn't look back at us. :lol
October 11, 200322 yr None of these comments is a shock to me. When the Cubs were in Cincy playing the Reds early this past season, a number of their fans showed up, and were being rude and obnoxious. In that series, Griffey dove for a ball and seriously injured himself. While on the ground, Cubs fans in the outfield were heckling him. Since then, my hatred for the Cubs and their fans knows no bounds. :angry
October 11, 200322 yr Yea they can get pretty nasty out there....thank god our crowd isnt like there's
October 11, 200322 yr I HATE THEM TOO! I thought all the chisox fans said that cuz u know the rivalary but its tru. There was 3 idiot cub fans sittin in the 1st row of leftfield upperdeck who would always turn around wave there cub hat and talk s*** to the marlins fans. Then we started throwing things at him ahahaha. Later on the cops came and talked to him but he was thrown out. They have no respect for opposing fans and they dont even watch the games. They come to talk crap about the opposing team. Obviously thats not all cubs fans but it looks like most of them are like that. Screw the Cubs. Lets Go Marlins!!!
October 11, 200322 yr Yet more evidence of how many Cubs fans are a**clowns. But the local and national media only reports about how the Cubs and their fans are so "cute" and "cuddly." Not only are their fans a**clowns, many of their players are a bunch of hot doggish jerks too. I only hope that someday the whole world comes to realize what kind of people they REALLY are.
October 11, 200322 yr many of their players are a bunch of hot doggish jerks too. I was thinking more along the lines of polish sausage jerks, but ok. :lol
October 11, 200322 yr I must admit, i sat next to a cool Cubs fan yesterday. But hes lived here for a while, I think we've taken the a**hole out of him. There was a fat guy by where I was sitting though. He was in the top of the Fish Tank by the handicap section (apparently in the mentally handicapped part) and I was in section 224. He started talking s*** to a 10 year old girl. A little girl. Then when Simon hit the homerun he came back (Cubs fans aren't loyal at all, when Pudge made it 3-2 they started filing out-frontunners) and started talking s*** to the little girl and to me. He is lucky that yesterday was the day I was sitting alone, because if there would have been just one more of us I do believe he would have been physically handicapped as well.
October 11, 200322 yr exactly juanky. when they would be losing the would go hide themselves in the tunnel or concession stands. when they would take the lead they would come out and start talkin crap. i have no problem wit other fans from other teams comin to the game but have some respect. They must be the worse fans in any sport at least that i have seen and i have been to a lot of baseball games including yankee and brave games and have never seen this type of fans. F the Cubs Fans!!!
October 11, 200322 yr Cub fans screw up just about everything that is good and decent about baseball. Remember, these are the same fans who think it's cute to lose. So even when you accommodate that "cuteness" for them (starting today!), they won't shut up. They're in love with the sound of their own beer-soaked voices. Most of 'em can't throw a punch either. All mouth, no huevos. Take that inside info for whatever it might be worth to you. My more civilized suggestion is to put that NFL seating capacity to work for you, and drown 'em out.
