Now What?

Okay, fish fans... who pitches next? How do things set up for the Fish to win? I think they can do it, but Game Six is going to be tough...

what about big red? dont he got like 4 days rest with tomorrow? i think he can go

We gotta win both, so what's the difference?

If we can win tuesday, I have a lot of confidence in Big Red on winning game 7

It'll be Pavano in game 6. I heard it on WQAM on the way home from the game.

We know.

It was on ESPNews.

Thanks for the correction. I was just trying to help and hadn't read all the posts yet. You're a real peach of a guy, Josh.

Just saying...

lol.

I know this would be unpopular, but I'd start Pavano in game 6 and Helling in game seven. Willis, I have little confidence in. Walking 3 batters in the first inning.....you can't do that again, especially against Wood. Helling throws strikes, which is more than I can say for Willis lately.

Redman will go Game 7 if there is one, not Willis.

poor d-train... i feel bad for that kid. his problems are 100% psychological

doubt it

doubt it He's right, they are all in his head. You could just tell by his demeanor in the first inning. He got pissed that he didn't get the areas of the plate he usually (and should) gets and then he just tried overpitching. Simple as that.

i dont see it....

if DW gets the calls early, he is gold... plain and simple...

i dont think there is any problem in his head

I would say it was an UMPIRE problem rather than psychological

Yes, the ump didn't give him some pitches that should have been strikes. The problem though is psychological because Willis needs to gain his confidence from the first inning. When he is walking people, then not getting a call to a certain hitter, and then that certain hitter pretending he is Mike Lowell after new life is granted doesn't help that confidence.
