We aren't going to win a whole lot this season unless our bats come alive and quickly, and yeah I know this was pretty much the Nationals' "B" (am I being generous??) team, but nonetheless hats off to Thompson, Gardner, Corcoran, Pinto and Gregg for throwing a four hit shut-out today.

I'm not being Pollyanna-ish here if I seem to be ignoring we were outhit and Paul Hoover drove in the game's only run, but a win is a win and it was good to see the bullpen not let this one get away. And our newest starter did get one of our three hits so it something else good came from it.

I agree with ya.

Good game by the boys (Offense was kinda blah) and also Thompson did amazing (My mom and I were cheering so loud for him :loser ). I kept my eye on De Aza the whole game (When a ball was hit to him) and he looked pretty comfortable and confident out there. From my eyes he did not miss judge anything out in center. He took charge of every fly ball. Good boy!! I have a feeling he is going to suprise everyone. He also had some extra spring in his step today.

I actually don't think it's such a bad thing that they've had a bad offensive spring. Maybe they will click at the start of the season and we can start on fire, as opposed to how we started last season.

i was writing about our hitting few week ago that we not getting run in that might hurt us in dc and here at home vs phy that did good job last year here at home
