Posted March 31, 200718 yr i saw this just now at the ticketmaster site...20 bucks for a fish tank seat? i knew ticket prices went up, but not by that much. i'm hoping fsn airs that april 23rd game, as these seat prices are just atrocious.
March 31, 200718 yr That's prices on Gameday as far as I know. I believe Outfield Terrace would be 15 in advance. Fish Tank would be 9 in advance I think.
March 31, 200718 yr Author okay, looks like they tacked on a gameday fee for every ticket now. not happy about this one bit... sorry, rant time. can't get to the stadium before gameday...will disinterest all the palm beach fans.
March 31, 200718 yr their want people buy ticket ahead for some reason i know if by on ticket master you need pay fee 7.50 and order processing fee of 2.60 too their trying make money for ticket master because it look like not many were using them in past
March 31, 200718 yr http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/fla/ticketi...ing_pricing.jsp That should help you understand what costs when. April 23rd is a Monday, so if you buy your tickets now.....The Fish Tank should cost $9 + tax. If you buy online, you get charged those fees too. UPDATE: I just tried to buy a Fish Tank seat for that game and it was the following.... Marlins Fish Tank Advanced Ticket Price: US $9.00 Ticketmaster Convenience Charge: US $3.75 TicketFast NOW: US $2.50 Total: US $15.25 I suggest you could have them mail it to you via Standard Mail for free.....or just call 1-877-MARLINS and using Will Call Windows at the Stadium to pick up your tickets.

March 31, 200718 yr Just call 1-888-MARLINS and buy your tickets. You can pick them up at the Will Call window at the ballpark on the day of the game but you pay for them over the phone with a credit/debit card. That way you get the advanced price.

They may charge the Ticketmaster fee....but I think 1-888-MARLINS is the ticket office directly. So they may not charge anything....call them and check. Never too early to get your tix if you can go!

I'm with you there, I know back when Marlins tickets were less expensive I've gotten upper deck seats and the service charge has cost practically as much as the seats themselves. :mad
March 31, 200718 yr Ripoff master, I like it. I will start using it. I bought rage against the machine tickets and the surcharge was $14.50 a ticket!
April 1, 200718 yr The addition of extra fees on gameday is not very sensible. This team counts on nice walkup crowds especially with the weather concerns people claim to have, they dont want to buy tickets ahead of time. After people show up on gameday the first time and realize they are charged more for coming to the game just because they are showing up on the day of the game, those walk up crowds will not be as large which I assume will hurt overall attendance because a lot of the fans can be quite fickle. You want to attract extra people to the ballpark rather than giving them reasons to turn away.

LOL I just can not let a Braves fan sit in Row 1. Sorry. Can't do it. Nothing personal, you understand. Seriously tho... If we aren't going to be able to make it you are welcome to our tix. Fish Tank, Row 1, on the aisle. I'll take care of a fellow PBC fan no matter what team she roots for, as long as it isn't the Mets.
April 1, 200718 yr What you could do is just plan ahead and buy tickets at the stadium when you are already there for a game.
April 1, 200718 yr This new gameday price thing sucks. Hopefully it means people buy advance tickets they don't use and you have plenty of scalpers.
