Backin2008
I have a sinking feeling that the Marlins will consider trading both of them in July or mabe even before that if they don't start playing better baseball. I know they could get a king's ransom for either of them, but, I would be highly upset. It wouldn't be like trading an older player like Delgado or LoDuca because these two guys have a lot of great production left in their careers and it would be a shame to see them elsewhere. I just don't trust Loria or his little troll son-in-law. :banghead
Marlins Expert
The way how they trade nothing but old for long has hurt our team. Buh-bye Petit.

prinmemito
We were worse off last year at this time. Teams go through slumps. We're in ours right now. We also have a lot of injured players. I have no doubt in my mind we'll bounce back and be in the wild card race throughout the season. People, calm down. Sorry that I have a realistic view on things. The thing is, your views arn't realistic. There IDIOTIC.  I would much rather be trying to figure out what the Marlins could add to the roster to make it better. Like in 2003 and 2004, that's when it was fun to be a Marlins fan. I said that I hope they don't trade Willis and Cabrera....they should be the foundation pieces of the franchise. That being said, they will both be $10+ players next season and I have doubts that the ownership is willing to pay that for them unless a stadium is being built. pierremvp1
Times like this always seem to call for a Loria bash. We'll break out of the slump, but I'm not so sure we'll sniff the wild-card chase this year. So, we're likely to have a long hot summer and many more threads to Loria bash. And as we bash, he banks another 1/4 million day after day, and still holds out the open palm to feed from the public trough.

Backin2008
Glad you could add so much to the conversation. Have you never made a mistake? $10 million dollar players...does that make you happy?
