Game 1 thoughts

olivo can be a .265 20 homer 70 rbi guy no doubt but id rather have him go to the bigger glove first lol

Olivo is awful. He swang at pitchers that weren't even close. This was his second straight 3 strikeout game, we really need to find a better situation at the catcher position.

Olivo is trying to hard, swinging at balls, has hit most of his home runs on first pitch, if he misses it hes usually done, sad to say but true

Great game though, we need to win this home series

First game I've been to at home in a long time.

That rain helped us big time.

Hanley needs to use his speed more. He was watching that "double" he hit, should have been an easy triple...and that infield ground-out he probably should have beaten out, but I admit, I thought it went foul.

Other than that, good showing by the team, atrocious by the fans. I swear there were more or equal Marlins fans in Tampa this weekend, and it was 1.5/1 Marlins/Phillies fans tonight.

I'm so lovin' that win tonight, though, real building block game.

- Can we end the Reggie Abercrombie Leadoff Experiment tonight?

He looks more comfortable in that slot. And he isn't doing a bad job at all. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I would love to see base running blunders go as an error. That infielder was an error on Hanley's part. He didn't run it out. Never even turned it on a little. Just kind of pulled a Miggy jog to 1B.

Man, you take every jab at Miggy that you can, don't you.

Just because we're winning doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Last I checked, .230 is pretty "broke" for a leadoff hitter.
