Iowa
Gregg, Lindstrom, Owens.. I'd love to know another major league team that added three arms as good as these in the offseason. The julio thing is done.. get it out of your head because adding 3 arms that are as important to our pen as he did is quite amazing.... especially at the price. I just cant say enough about how much I am in love with this bullpen. Two top quality lefties and a bunch of other guys who can bring the gas. Dodge
Very nice job tonight, we didn't give up when we were down early and our superstar Cabrera sparks the comeback.
FreshFish
Results are doing the talking for Beinfest and the Marlins FO baseball people. That's all I have to say
louiecastillo1
I love these "final thought" threads. Anyway, great job by Olsen minus the two homeruns, Cabs came up big as usual, awesome job by the bullpen today. Until next time... take care of yourselves, and each other.... or something like that. canada-marlin24
what is getting me really pissed is how terrible the pitches are that olivo is swinging at and he is a much better hitter than that...plus hes using such a small glove to catch and u can tell by how many balls he drops...even treanor uses a much bigger glove
LaBolaSeLlevoLaCerca
Results are doing the talking for Beinfest and the Marlins FO baseball people. That's all I have to say Yup, although I thought we would have a nice bullpen, I didn't really see what the bullpen has done so far coming. Best collection of relief arms Beinfest has ever put together. Yes I know that isn't saying much considering how bad the bullpen has been the last 3 years but you know what I mean. SonataArctica121
I like the fact that Olsen went out there and out dueled Hamels. He is going out there and giving us quality starts, and the offense is waking up. Hermida K'ed 3 of 4 times though :confused
TheDon
Impressive come from behind win. How clutch is Jason Wood?

PBCMarlinsFan
- Can we end the Reggie Abercrombie Leadoff Experiment tonight? - The Marlins come from behind to win late in the game once again, something that has been rare at times in seasons recently past and a definite welcome sight. - Olsen shows increased maturity on the mound, also a welcome sight. - Was great seeing Wood, the career minor leaguer finally getting a shot to stick on a club, bring home the winning runs with that double in the 6th. - How much of a steal is that Gregg for Resop deal turning out to be? Not to mention Vargas/Bostick for Lindstrom/Owens...? - Lindstrom's slider seems to really be coming along. If he can work that in with that 98 mph fastball effectively from here on out he is going to be nasty. - Gregg probably cemented himself as our closer tonight, Owens healthy or no. Admin
I dont hate him at all. But you shouldnt be surprised a guy that refuses to take a walk, strikes out a ton, and swings at the first pitch in the majority of his at bats is struggling. He got lucky enough to have a few drop last year. That was the exception and not the norm. Its very probable that this is exactly the hitter Olivo is capable of being. Stating what is quite possibly fact is not "hating" at all.
Ramp
Keep Reggie/Alf in the leadoff spot Keep Olivo at the 7 hole and seriously, shut up Spike, WE KNOW YOU DON'T LIKE HIM.

Mauer7
Keep Reggie/Alf in the leadoff spot Definetly. From the leadoff spot Reggie's hitting .286 and 'Fredo's hitting .306. Reggie looked good tonight.
Bucklin12
doesn't matter. you are a broken record Everyone has their repeated object. Mine is Scott Olsen. Yours is big awkward white guys roaming the outfield. Joke. No one get upset, it's too late.

Bucklin12
A sadly presented joke about Spike's obsession with "The Anti-Olivo Moment", my obsession with a pitcher who I know is not as good as I say he is, and your affinity for awkward white outfielders (ala Hammer, Borch, Hermida)
MarlinFan10
Hanley should be hitting leadoff again. Other than that, my only thought is that it was an awesome win. The best part was when it rained and everyone ran for cover. While they did so, I ran for their seats. We ended 1 row, then 3 rows up from the Marlins dugout the last 3 innings. Very cool game to go to.
