October 16, 200322 yr Well I guess he'll be back huh ! Congrats Jack, you taught these guys how to win and we'll never forget you !!!
October 16, 200322 yr Even though he was kind of joking at the time, it looked like Jack confirmed he will be back next year, hopefully with a fat ring on his finger.

Well, the loser of the World Series still gets a league championship ring (so everyone gets a ring no matter what). But that's not the point!
October 16, 200322 yr Yeah, that's awesome. Too bad the NL couldn't hang on in this year's all-star game!!!
October 16, 200322 yr Jack McKeon is seriously my hero. if i ever met him i would probably bow :notworthy
October 16, 200322 yr You could see the excitement in their faces! They have played well, and they are getting the credit they have deservingly won! The entire team, managers, players, fan,...everyone,........This is a night to celebrate!
October 16, 200322 yr so i guess there will be alot more marlins on the all-star team next year! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 16, 200322 yr Outstanding. And as a bonus maybe he can screw with a few of Dusty's allstars next year and try to leave them out like Dusty did to the D-Train.
October 16, 200322 yr Author Outstanding. And as a bonus maybe he can screw with a few of Dusty's allstars next year and try to leave them out like Dusty did to the D-Train. Good to have you back Mr. Filet O' Fish :thumbup
October 16, 200322 yr Jack was a pretty good manager with the Reds. Then they did what they usually do with good people: Put them out on the curb like garbage. :angry I'm a Reds fan, but the truth is evident: Sparky Anderson, Jack McKeon, Tony Perez - after 44 games (I still haven't forgiven Jim Bowden) - and Davey Johnson. Go Fish!
October 16, 200322 yr Since we are slamming Dusty (and deservedly so) will someone at the MLB offices please fine Dusty if his child ever appears again in a dugout, lockerroom or news conference? Watched Dusty's news conference and he had that little kid on his lap, making noises and carrying on. For God's sakes, have some professionalism. It's the MLB, not your family reunion.
October 16, 200322 yr i know! what about Mark M.-he ALWAYS had his son with him! hes really lucky he must have missed alot school-lol.
October 16, 200322 yr NO kidding. I guess if you play for Dusty your kid grows up illiterate, because it's obious they don't EVER go to school. And I thought MLB told Dusty no more romper-room on the field after last year? I saw his kid running around the dugout again tonite. Forget the Goat, the kid is the curse that follows Dusty around.
