I don't see what's surprising about the Nats, they're a good team. It's like people bitching when their team lose to the Royals. They're not going to lose 162 games, they're going to win atleast 60, probably 70+. They're a major-league quality team.

I don't know where people are expecting to be at this point, considering the fact that our pitching rotation consist of our #7 and #8 guys, and possibly our #9 soon. We were without 3 starting position players for most of the year (Two of which were our OF, and our #4 OFer is out with an injury, leaving us with our #5 and #6 guys), still without two position players. Let's see where other teams with our kind of injuries are:

Oakland: 26-26 (Which speaks volumes about Beane), .500

Florida: 26-29, .473

Toronto: 25-29, .463

Yankees: 23-29, .442

I'd say we're doing pretty damn fine with what our situation is. People need to stop being such Negative Nancys. It's one thing to be concerned with a situation. It's another to have End Of The World syndrome. If you're expecting us to be leading the NL East, you should review back over what our situation is.

There bullpen bench and lineup are alright but didnt the rotation look like

Patterson, Hill, Chico, O'Conner, Williams. I know Hills been performing well but that rotation is overmatched by every one in the division and probably the national league...

The Cardinals currently have Kip Wells, Braden Looper(who was doing well, granted, but seems to have hit his wall), and Todd Wellemeyer in their rotation...so I wouldnt be too premature with your speculation about them being overmatched by everyone in the NL.
