Do you guys think that we can justify sending him back to the minors after such a great game tonight? I'm not suggesting he should become part of the rotation, but the kid certainly has more potential than Wes.

I absolutely hate Wes but it's hard to justify dumping him for a guy as unpolished as Vandy, despite his good start tonight. If he shows enough to stay up I would be ecstatic but I'm not expecting it.

Not jinxing a no-hitter is just part of the game. You just don't do it. You should have seen me during Anibal's last year as I had my friends scramble to find the game on TV for reasons that I couldn't tell them.

Athletes are even more superstitious. I don't honestly believe that we have an effect on the game, but you still just don't do things like mention a no hitter. It is frustrating and stupid to do it unless its the other team or the Yankees.

You shouldn't start a new thread in the middle (only the 6th inning) of a no hitter talking about how great the pitcher is doing. Wait until after the game or put it in the game thread, thats what it is there for.

Everything in sports revolves around me, and what couch/tv I am watching on, what shirt I am wearing, what I say in game, etc.
