June 15, 200717 yr What kind of pitcher is Meche? He better not be a soft tosser. Definitely not a soft tosser. Very similar to a Sergio Mitre. He struggled early in his career with command and injuries, but has always had very good stuff. Has a plus sinker that gets a lot of groundballs, and a plus fastball. When he is throwing strikes, he is very tough to hit. This is the other type of pitcher we struggle against, take the under on this game.
June 15, 200717 yr If KC swings the bats like they did in games 1 and 3 of the St. Louis series, Mitre is in for a long night....or a short night, if you want to get technical.

June 16, 200717 yr I'm watching on mlb.tv and the Royals announcers are pronouncing Alfredo's name as "Amarrrrzega" ... so annoying.
