July 12, 200719 yr Jorge Julio, since being traded to the Rockies, has pitched quite well: In 21 innings of relief, Julio has posted a 2.79 ERA, and, even more amazingly, boasts a 1.19 WHIP. He's found his control in Denver. What's more amazing about this stunning turnaround is that he's done it in one of the WORST parks for pitchers in the history of the game, Coors Field. Good luck to him.
July 12, 200719 yr Author Hard to explain the dramatic turnaround. Maybe it was the pressure of playing in front of so many fans here in Miami. :anon
July 12, 200719 yr Julio and Kim have both turned out, so it was a good trade for everyone involved. I highly doubt Julio would've turned it around if he stayed here so I don't miss him, but I certainly wish him all the best.
July 12, 200719 yr I think Julio and Kim have been successful because they each replaced someone who was more hated than they could ever be in that market.

July 13, 200719 yr The Mets dont miss him either, lol. We got El Duque for that BUM!! You guys gave up Petit right? ahhhah :lol Not only does he get put down but we common folk get one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen and I don't know why. Anyway though it's certainly a suprise, Miami is usually the place where pitchers go to turn their careers around and it's been the exact opposite.
July 13, 200719 yr I'd rather have him over Wes Obermueller. Easy to say that now as opposed to when he was blowing every save or hold opportunity he got and had an ERA in the upper double digits.
