This following an 0-2 night.

An 0-2 night where he did three things that Olivo can't. He walked, made a great defensive play, and caught.

The exaggeration that goes against a player certain posters don't like is hilarious stuff.

He's walked a total of 8 times this year while strikingout 96. He drops the ball on a nearly constant basis. And there is NO way he would have made that play at home.

I dont think its fair to say he wouldnt have made the play. He has made some nice plays on plays at the plate, and certainly some terrible ones. It wasnt more than a couple weeks ago when Willingham got a runner on the plate but Olivo had to make a perfect play to pick up the awkward hop and tag the runner before he scored. He made that play.

We need a better starting Catcher and Center Fielder and were good for next ye :thumbup ar.Olivo and Treanor both stink and DeAza wont cut it in Center.

What the hell is wrong with De Aza? He has speed for our spacious park, he's a good contact hitter, looks confident out there, and is a good bunter. Besides, he's only played 21 games. I'm not saying he's the answer to our CF problem but I'm not saying he won't "cut it" either. Give him some time. Reggie looked terrible his whole time here, same with Reed, same with Carroll. At least De Aza is producing.
