Jeff Conine Traded to the Mets

Featured Replies

the florida mets of new york...but i hate how the muts are rounding up all of the fish...it's so disgusting.

reminds me of a story during spring training, couple of mut fans from ny kept looking at marlins players, and pointed to dontrelle and told his son that he's going to be a met one day. i was so annoyed that met fans looked at the marlins as their farm system, and he said that it was true. ugh.

This is like half the Red Sox team going to New York in the early 20s on a much lighter scale.

What a crappy year to be a Marlins fan.

The mets are pretty close to fielding a full lineup of former marlins

Not even half

Plus you left off Conine, who was the impetus for this whole discussion.

Too bad they aren't in the line-up, they're all bench players, half bordering on AAA players.

i thought the south florida stereotype was that everyone's from new york.

You forgot the pitcher, that's 4 out of 9 positions in the starting line-up.

I did like Sean Henry, but it's not the end of the world. Conine will probably have more big hits in these next 2-3 months then either guys would of had in a Mets uniform.

Welcome to the Mets Jeff :arms
