If we can't fight for the playoffs the next best thing is to ruin the hopes of the Phillies. Hopefully we can win this series and do the same against the Cubs in the final week.

Beating the Phillies just makes everything feel right again. Makes me almost forget about all of the injuries, errors, bad plays and managing that has held the team back this season. :thumbup

Man, after attending the Nationals sweep earlier this week, it was good to witness a win against the Phillies last night. My 5 game jaunt ends today, so here's hoping it ends on a high note.

My only regret of having a winning record vs them for the season is that it helps the Mets. And that leaves a bad taste in my mouth just typing it.
