September 28, 200719 yr I happen to think putting him in the bullpen with Foster moving into the dugout was an excellent idea. And letting it be known he can be in the mix for pitching coach in 2008 I suspect made a few guys take their work a little more seriously when you're 20 games out of first and a week to play. Do I think it made anyone a "better" pitcher? No. Do I think a few guys might be a little more focused and determined to show the guy who could have something to say in the off-season about their futures with the team? Yes.
