I continue to like this show and wonder why it's ratings are not doing well. it's pretty decent, no idea why it's not doing well. whole different take of quantum leap, but sometimes clues come out of nowhere and it gets confusing on the subplots. i bet many people watching heroes turn away right after and go straight to the message boards to talk about it. i need at least 30 minutes after a show to absorb the information of the episode and talk about it with everyone. this is what i think killed the nine last year, which followed lost.

October 11, 200717 yr Author NBC has ordered 3 more scripts bringing the total to 16. Not a full season order yet but a good sign.
October 16, 200717 yr The lead actor did not just say "oh Boy" when he showed up in the church in the opening scene... What is next week, bringing in a hologram and make it really what it is, a Quantum leap clone??

October 17, 200717 yr The show has been okay, but it doesn't GRAB you. I feel like I could miss 4 or 5 episodes and settle in to the next episode without missing anything. I do like that he received a phone call from the present in the past - or did he - element they just added.
December 13, 200717 yr I friggin LOVE this show.. I don't know if it's cause I miss Quantum Leap, but I am hooked on this one... And the whole thing about a show not doing well because of the show preceding it, shouldn't be an issue with Tivo around these days. I don't think I watch anything in their slated time slot. I do whatever I have to do and then watch everything at 11pm or so.... But I think Journeyman is an awesome show.. And if you don't watch, you could miss a lot... I'm still a show behind ( a lot to catch up on with Tivo ), but I see his brother, Jack, is finally coming around and believing his story...  This show is one of my favorites right now...

December 13, 200717 yr this was a great show, only new show i cared to watch this year after bionic woman's show lost me with it's uninteresting storylines. it had great storylines with dan and his family and the whole olivia time triangle. difference is that dan can live somewhat of a normal life in his time, but why does olivia travel forward in time, and why was she stuck in the future for 10 years? too bad it won't go on for more of this time jumping mystery. at least it will have a somewhat proper ending, so i'm not too down. i personally blame heroes, which got me hooked, but notice how shows following a mega show seem to never last. the last two shows will air next week, with the final one airing on wednesday.
December 13, 200717 yr I've got them all DVRed. I will admit that it finally started to get interesting with the 2 part episode, but overall the show was just okay. It never really generated much interest/conversation [i was the only one in here posting anything about ut] and that may have contributed. What ever that ellusive "it factor" is, this show didn't have it.
December 14, 200717 yr Son of a crap.. I am officially never going to start watching a new show again. There have been a few within the last year that I've really liked that they've pulled this crap on (Invasion, The Class, Kidnapped).. Not all on the same network, but whatever. Journeyman is a great show.. They should have at least given it another season... If they pull this same crap on Chuck, I'm throwing my TV out...  I think I used the word crap too many times in this post.. Whatever.. just a sign of my displeasure....

December 18, 200717 yr very interesting show today. loved how the daughter replaced the son for a while, but he finally got the boy to give up the camera and fix things for the better. but we find out that dan and livia were born during some cooky event, probably explains a bit of the time traveling. i hope we get enough answers for a solid ending on wednesday. one question i have though, what would things be like if they didn't step in?
December 21, 200717 yr Damn.. I need to catch up on my Tivo... I still haven't seen this past Monday's or yesterday's.... Was yesterday's show the last one then? And my friggin Tivo didn't record it. They better have it online...

December 23, 200717 yr loved the ending. it was more of an open ending, which is more than many shows can say. it felt like it was a fitting end, but not really. so many ways this show can go, including who is controlling the time traveling, why do some people go forward and others go back and who is trying to stop all this? and i would like to know more about dan and livia and how are things going to work out in their lives. one more thing i noticed. it seemed as so the time traveling powers were fading, as once, someone could jump hundreds of years, and now people can only jump during their lifespan. this show should be picked up by another network (not cbs, i still have jericho related issues with them), likely fox or fx as fox produces the show.
January 3, 200817 yr I finally caught the last 2 episodes yesterday and damn, I hope this show is picked up by someone if it's not renewed. I liked the whole thing with the daughter taking the son's place too.. and I won't lie.. being the father of a little boy myself, I was close to friggin tears at the end when he finally saw Zach again... As for the last show, I thought they were wrapping it up when Livia and Dan were saying they had a feeling it would be a while.. But when Dan told his wife that this was his calling, they left it open... Why aren't more people watching this show?????

He's a writer, not sure if he created it.. But anyways.... There have been over 1,000 posts of people praising the show, asking for it to be kept on the air. I can only hope that the execs at NBC actually read them and reconsider... Usually NBC and sci-fi don't mix (see Star Trek and Quantum Leap)... Heroes has been the exception to the rule with them though...
January 7, 200817 yr I just don't see this show as a prototypical Sci-Fi show... It's much like Medium in that the bigger picture has something to do with something paranormal, but the stories within that are very much every day things that everybody can relate to... I know it's a long shot for NBC to reconsider, but maybe the writer's strike will have some positive counter effect on this one.
