If you could choose between an 8gb iPhone or a 16gb iPod touch, which would you choose?

I would go with the ipod touch... I'm just not sold that the iphone is worth shelling out that much cash for

Until the iPhone gets off the Edge network, I'd hold off. Frankly, I would wait until the next generation for both devices and get an 8gb Nano to tie you over until then. I was in the same position as you were and I got the Nano. I like it because it's small and can take a beating that I'd feel bad putting the iPhone or iPod Touch through.

Rumor has it that Im gettin a new IPod for my birthday.

Fox, what was that site that buys IPods? I wanna try and get some cash for my old beast.

Are you going to give me one? Because if not I'm just going to punch you in the face for teasing you might...

Damn my 4th Gen IPod is only worth $41. :( They probably want it for the Smithsonian.

:lol My Ipod feels like a brick compared to these new ones out.

I have an ancient iPod too, but it still works and I refuse to upgrade while it still works.

I know how you feel. Mine works fine. I was gonna ride it out till the end.

Im almost positive Im gettin a new one for my bday though.

I was wondering, if you send an "im" through meebo.com or another instant message providing website. Would it count as if you're sending a text?

no it doesn't count as a text!

and as far as the whole iphone ipod touch, i've got an iphone, and frankly, the iphone holds as much music as you could possibly want at any given time.....

HOWEVER, i read a rumor yesterday that the next iphone will be coming out around May with 3G support. (This parallels Apple's yearly product update).

so i would hold off till may if you can.

lol, SWEEEEEEEEET! I am definetly getting it then, what site do you use for instant messaging?

I don't think I can't wait that long lol, for some reason I want the iPhone by this weekend :thumbup

Is it true that it freezes alot?

if the phone starts acting funny at all (which doesn't happen very often), i just turn it on and off and it fixes the problem right away.

and i use jivetalk for instant messaging.

I've been using Meebo. For some reason the phone isn't letting my send photos from the phone to my email address

Very fun phone btw

I'm in the process of trying to get my hands on a free iPhone. I got my iPod via the free methods as well and my buddy already got his free iPhone. I got to mess around with the iphone and had to change my pants three times.

If anyone is interested in making a quick 30 bucks via paypal for doing 5-10 minutes of work and signing up for an offer to help me get an iphone, I would have no problem paying up!

I've sold two devices with them, have had no problem.

I think they can pay you via check or PayPal (much faster).

it's definitely more reliable and probably quicker than an auction site, but they don't give you fair value. (I can get 20 dollars more for my nano 2nd gen on ebay)

Using aim on this phone is kind of annoying. It sucks you have to either use meebo or beejive (those are the two i've tried/only two i know of) and whenever you get a phone call, it seems to kick you off of aim. It says connection failed.
