December 21, 200718 yr I read this article and for some reason pictured signs (like the ones I have seen in some posters' signatures) at Marlins games during the 2008 season.... with a different name other than Isaih on the signs of course.... Knicks Fans Demonstrate Unhappiness
December 21, 200718 yr Because people don't actually attend our games I don't thimnk this will work. Just dosen't carry the same message when they are sitting on their couches holding signs up to the TV.

Just look at the minor league system. Well, as an overall grade, I think our FO is much better than other ML teams. It can't all be perfect but I think many people agree that the Marlins do a great job given the situation they have been in. How can we have a deep minor league system if these kids are rushed to the ML once another firesale takes place. I'm sure Maybin could probably use another year to ripen but you can bet that he will probably be rushed to CF this year. Oh, well. Thats the way the ball bounces in South Florida. :jump

Just look at the minor league system. We've promoted everybody remotely suited to the majors, what would one expect?
December 27, 200718 yr This is a serious catch-22, as if more people show up, it gives the owner more money. However, revolts against owners have worked in Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh (put quotes around "worked" for Pittsburgh, as their CEO just recently resigned, so we don't know what the new CEO will do) in getting new controlling ownership.
