Anderson's what, 26? He's supposedly a terrific defensive CF, but it appears it's going to take some time for his bat to come around, if it ever does. And for the Marlins, CF isn't a position he'd have time to grow at. I suppose if Maybin isn't ready, he'd be fine as a 4th OF/defensive replacement, or platoon with Cody, but someone like Brett Carroll could probably fill that role. I certainly wouldn't give up anything major, because if he's just a stopgap there's no point in using viable trade pieces for him. Looking more like the next Joe Borchard in the line of White Sox prospect disappointments. I'm fine throwing Ross out there every day personally, but he has had some injury issues.
