Brad Penny = Sweet Bastard!

Featured Replies

Everyone knows Brad has the talent and is still young enough to show us. The WS is just a small sample for him (2 games) so its not like hes a HoF now...I'm sure as hell proud of him for deciding to do it during the WS though!

And a spring training with Rosenthal.

Dontrelle was at spring training this season.....but a different pitching coach of course.

I seriously think we may go with a 6-man roatation when Burnett returns.

that is idiotic. If you have confidence that all six will give you a quality start, why? It allows an extra day of rest for each pitcher, so a Dontrelle-like breakdown won't occur.

BUT, I have a feeling Burnett will go to the bullpen when he comes back, and ease into the rotation later in the season.

on top of that, there's no point in pitching a good pitcher every 6 games instead of every 5.
