I agree. That is what i've been saying for a while now.

The thing is that the two issues you seem to be hung up on, the lawsuit and the police thing, are not really big issues. The common consensus is that Norm Braman has no legal standing and that the police thing is basically done. Not only that, the County Manager stated that he believe the stadium wouldn't be hurt by the lawsuit going though and the amendment to the BSA about the police was never added, so the deadline on that couldn't bring the stadium down.

The BSA gave us a stadium people. I know with all the close calls, watching us almost there and having it pulled away, many of you guys have become pessimistic and disbelieving that the stadium is basically a done deal, but it is.

ok when i hear court throw lawsuit out the window and both dade and miami fire, police shake hand and we say how we think of ground breaking by nov after little issue taking care off ((i not seen any update on issue yet on new paper or tv news yet))

The police thing is not even an issue. People on this forum read way too much Miami Herald. This is trivial issue that can be solved easily and is being blown WAY out of proportion. Even if the problem persists it won't hinder the building of the stadium. Talk to anyone in City Hall or on the Commissioning Board and they will tell you that it is a concern but it won't hold back construction. As far as the lawsuit, things don't seem to be going anywhere. So i consider these problems to be completely trivial and no one should be worrying about them. I'm not... You tell us not to jump the gun but there is no gun to jump

Sign. I'm just going to ignore this guys posts from now on. Lawsuit this, firemen that. I don't think he realizes that they just don't matter. Its basically FAKE NEWS. These "issues" are there but they have zero chance of screwing over the marlins stadium. Writers need to make sh*t up because every time we've tried to get a stadium there have been REAL and LEGITIMATE hurdles. Now that we've cleared ALL hurdles, they are pulling our the most random and retarded crap and acting like it has any merit. After this lawsuit gets dropped and the firemen + cops are done pretending to care so much, I bet there will be some new dumb issue that people will read about. Then I will come onto this forum and read a post by miamibaseball saying how they marlins are going to have to demolish what they have already built because the wildlife association has found a rare species of bugs that only lives where the OB used to stand because it can only live off of old beer that has soaked into the ground. Come on already. You do know the deal is done and finished right? As in everything signed etc. Fin.

i hope you right when we have FINAL VOTE in july

I can almost guarantee it. In 2004 they snubbed our opening game, even though we were the reigning champions. THE ONLY CHAMPS TO NOT START ON SUNDAY OPENING NIGHT or IN JAPAN (the Red Sox this year started in Japan) since at least 2003.

Angels had opening night 2003

Red Sox had opening night 2005

White Sox had opening night 2006

St Louis had opening night 2007

Red Sox opening Day in japan 2008

Lets face it, we could win 5 World Series in a row and ESPN would still hate on us. Last night Karl Ravech did not host BBTN, and we got coverage, but when he hosts, we are either just barely mentioned, or they don't even mention our game. The man just wants our franchise to disappear. I wish someone in the media down here had the testicles to interview him and get an answer.

Agreed. Those are trivial issues that eventually will be worked out and won't hinder construction. The lawsuit isn't going anywhere and I know Braman myself and he even doesn't think it has a chance at this point.

All of that stuff is trivial....we shouldn't be worried about it.
