April 7, 200818 yr It's very early yet but McPherson keeps hitting homeruns AND striking out, hopefully he can cut down on the latter. Maybin is hitting something like .460+ last time I checked and from his stats in his so far short stay in Carolina must be feasting on a steady diet of fastballs. Hopefully the word gets out and he doesn't see another one for three weeks because he's not down (or up in this case) there to hit heat, he's down there to learn what to do with breaking pitches of several descriptions. All that said, both are doing extremely well all things considered and the small sample size.
April 7, 200818 yr It's not being said enough, huge thanks to you for doing these every day. It's really well done and useful. As for today's action: Barone sure isn't helping his chances of being recalled.
April 7, 200818 yr Nice to see Kyle Winters pick up where he left off. I love him, he is by far our most under rated prospect IMO.
