Puma
It's been reported the Rams will take Chris Long out of Virginia. No surprise there... Now the question is, where will Atlanta go? Will they take Glenn Dorsey? Will they take Matt Ryan? Will they take Darren McFadden?
Puma
So PWG, where are the Steelers going today? Gotta think they're going O-line. Gosder Cherilus from BC would be a good fit, I think.

Erick
Dorsey should go Top 5. He's like the next Warren Sapp. The guy is gonna be a stud. I don't care...I don't have an NFL team. My brother is a Jets fan. He's hoping the Raiders pass and they (the Jets) take McFadden.

As I said, I don't have a team, but I do watch the NFL. I also watch these shows like "NFL Live" and so forth. Some people (like Todd McShay) think Gholston is overrated, for some reason. The_Godfather
Rumor has it the Buccaneers traded their # 52 (2nd round) pick to the Dolphins for Jason Taylor Wow that would be huge. I like it if so. 3 second round picks to build around.
Erick
Rumor has it the Buccaneers traded their # 52 (2nd round) pick to the Dolphins for Jason Taylor I don't get it...Taylor can still play, and he hasn't gone off like Ocho Cinco saying he wants out. Why trade him for anything else than a 1st Rounder? Taylor can still put up 10-12 (maybe more) sacks a year. It was not too long ago...he was DPOY. He only has a couple more years left in him, a 2nd round pick has a lot of value nowadays, and we aren't going to win a super bowl with in the next two years. We need young talent to build around. Puma
It was not too long ago...he was DPOY. That was 2 years ago. 2 years is a long time in the NFL. The fact of the matter is, Jason Taylor is not gonna do the Dolphins any good in 2008, so they might as well trade him NOW and get a 2nd round pick rather than keep him around for another year and have him lose value, kinda like what happened with Zach Thomas. JT is still a solid player, but he's getting up there in age, which drops his value. He's not the DPOY he was 2 years ago, otherwise they'd easily get a 1st rounder and more from the Bucs. The_Godfather
Breaking news: the Jake Long contract thing was a smoke screen, Dolphins to take DeSean Jackson! I think I'd be less shocked somehow if that happened compared to us taking Ted Ginn over Quinn last year.
Puma
I love the new 10 minute draft clock this year. 15 minutes was wayyyy too long. And for the 2nd round, It's 7 minutes.

I have the feeling we'll be seeing a lot of Jake Long vs. Vernon Gholston matchups for years to come. Jet vs. Dolphin Former Buckeye vs. Former Wolverine Should be fun to watch! The_Godfather
Now the real intrigue starts...everyone knew the first two picks a few hours ago, do the Falcons take the QB or do the right thing and take the BPA in Dorsey? Trade?
Puma
I'm guessing the Falcons take Matt Ryan.
