Best rotation in baseball

Featured Replies

IMO:

Hudson=Burnett(Not sure since theres to many ?'s on Aj's health)

MulderWillis(To early to compare them but so far Harden)

Lilly

Word is, as much as he wants to start, Burnett will be relieving until at least All Star Break next season (considering he comes back when he wants at the beginning of the year). When Jack deems he is ready for the rotation once more, he'll send him out there. At that point I think Dontrelle would be the best fit for the pen until he can learn a third pitch, it was rather difficult for the Yanks to hit him coming out of the pen (Save for Game 3, when he was playing catch with Loria in the teal seats instead of pitching to the plate).

Beckett

Pavano

Willis

Best rotation in baseball IMO, not even a contest. And amazingly you can bring Redman out of the pen now. If this is your rotation next year, don't be surprised to see the Marlins in the same position this time 365 days from now.

If AJ is 100% on opening day the rotation IMO should be like this:

Burnett

Beckett

Penny

Willis/Redman

Pavno

Redman/Willis in the Pen

IF not

Beckett

Penny

Redman

Pavano

Willis

AJ in the pen

So who do we let go in this rotation?

Obviosuly, the Marlins can't sign all 6 starters, so who do we let go?

I'm not even sure right now, it's a tough call.

(let's just say that AJ is ready to start on opening day next season)

If it were ME, I would trade Redman.

He's the oldest one in the rotation, and the most questionable. I mean, when he's on, he's dominant. But he must be perfect to be dominant.

Not only that, but I'm sure he'd fetch for a pretty penny. BUT, you do NOT trade him (or anyone) until you have full confidence in AJ.

we wouldnt get much for Redman... you are fooling yourself if you think otherwise

We have to keep all of them.

We're going to need Castillo and Lee to go maybe even Juan and get Cheaper options at RF/LF and 2b. Conine would move to 1st. Cabrera could play either LF or RF.

A workhorse of a pitcher who won 14 games (would have had 230+ innings and 15+ wins if it weren't for that damn bunt)?

Yea, that's nothing.

Exactly, Many scouts say he was succesful this year becuase he played in PPS. Mamy are not confident he could put up similar numbers somewhere else. So his trade Value is not good.
