Most overused and annoying phrases in baseball

"Our Nation's Capital" - when referring to games against the Nationals

SHUT UP ALREADY.

Not even close

That phrase is where we are... the most overused are where that sun is...

Here is a more reasonable list:

Chemistry

Clutch

Grit

Hitting with a purpose

and those are just the ones I can think of for now

When announcers/writers/fans talk about how a winning team has "great chemistry" in the locker room. STFU. When David Ortiz is facing a 96 MPH he doesn't hit the ball as hard as he does because of the how nicely everyone in the locker room gets along.

And LOL at this! So true!

Any thing that comes out of Tim McCarvers' mouth is overused and annoying. I often find myself talking to the TV, especially when he's on, with his insights into the game such as "The pitcher really needs to throw a strike now" or to the losing team "They really need to step it up". Gosh thanks Capt. Obvious! Its not only McCarver but he seems to be the worst offender.
