Who cares if the Phillies lose when the Marlins can't take care of their own business

Please explain to me what they did wrong there?

Taking care of business = winning

Yes, that was bad luck but you have to overcome it somehow

good thing this game is far from over...

I never said the game was over. Stop putting words in my mouth. Yes, there's plenty of time to overcome the bad luck, and that's exactly what I am talking about. Take care of business. Some of you are too quick to attack people on this board.

Actually they can. Its just that Eric Chavez can as well.

I'm not talking about just tonight. The Phillies have lost 8 of their last 11 games, and the Marlins only gained a couple games. They need to steal some of these close games, like last night.

so the Phillies are struggling...and we're playing averagely.

It's part of baseball..."it's a marathon, not a sprint."

Standings only matter after 162 games. After 162 games, we'll see who's better...if it's the Marlins, we're in the playoffs, if it's the Phillies...props to them. Goes to show even the "Great and Powerful" Phillies have rough stretches as well...for all those people who decide to call this team a fluke, every time they friggin struggle.

The positive thing in this game so far is that nolasco's velocity hasn't dropped that much, he's still throwing 90-92 MPH with his fastball

Why would it drop? He's had 8 days rest.

lo i forgot that he had 8 days rest. and the only reason i mentioned it is because last time olsen went 8 2/3 inning, his velocity dropped. and since nolasco went 8 2/3 innings, i thought his velocity would drop, but thankfully it didn't

we already have 11 men left on base

?

we left 2 in the 1st inning

3 in the 2nd inning

I only count 5.
