6/21 Marlins @ A's

Who cares if the Phillies lose when the Marlins can't take care of their own business

Please explain to me what they did wrong there?

a) That ball looked like it, indeed, did it Hanley (it caught his uniform)

b) Stop calling the A's lucky...Eric Chavez is a GG 3B...he made nice plays. Give him credit.

Only thing worth complaining about was the amount of time the umpire took to actually make the call.

Bottom of the 2nd now...still a lot of time left.

Actually they can. Its just that Eric Chavez can as well.

Taking care of business = winning

Yes, that was bad luck but you have to overcome it somehow

They were lucky the ball got hit to him, is what I think most are trying to say.

It's only the 2nd, we still have plenty of time to overcome.

that's part of the game, lol...

The positive thing in this game so far is that nolasco's velocity hasn't dropped that much, he's still throwing 90-92 MPH with his fastball

Why would it drop? He's had 8 days rest.

I'm not talking about just tonight. The Phillies have lost 8 of their last 11 games, and the Marlins only gained a couple games. They need to steal some of these close games, like last night.

Funny you picked now to mention it though, is all I'm saying.

I never said the game was over. Stop putting words in my mouth. Yes, there's plenty of time to overcome the bad luck, and that's exactly what I am talking about. Take care of business. Some of you are too quick to attack people on this board.

Well, it's not like we have been sucking. We've played .500 ball in our last 10 games.
