Dallas McPherson is not eligible for the Adopt a Marlin since he has MLB experience. He played for the Angels in parts of 2004, 2005 and 2006.

 

However, he is not on the Marlins 40 man roster.

 

EDIT: I stand corrected. He does show in the 40 man roster as an Outfielder.
