I hate when people generalize the Marlins defense like that. They may have the lowest fielding percentage, but that doesn't make it justifiable to say the team plays "no defense." Most of the Marlins have made appearances on web gems and top plays this year. yea I think saying we play no defense does not mean that we literally do not play any defense. But rather that since our defense is the worst in the league that we are pretty much as bad as it gets defensively. Which is hard to argue really. On the bright side, we know that most of the guys on our team are capable of great plays and great defense when they aren't making mental errors. So if they can get their sh*t together and strengthen their D they can still string together victories and succeed.

He is a Marlin fan, so I think that somewhat gives him the right to bash the team. Defense will only get worse though, once McPherson is called up.
