Wilbon showing some love for the Fish on PTI

Featured Replies

I love Wilbon, showing some love for the Marlins. Saying they have a better shot to win the East than the Muts. :D I remember him in 2003 backin up the Marlins too. He knows his stuff too. The more attention the betta.

and saying this all after we split the series against his team the Cubs

irony huh? well i like any guy who says that we will win, where is Kornheiser?

lmao, i love pti. that reminds me of when they played an april fool's joke of the kansas-davidson elite 8 "replay the last 16 seconds" thing.

fantastic. where is Tony anyway, he's good too

BAM!

haha, you're a fool...j/k i fell for it too :(

I was watching that too and I do love that they gave us props, but it just pisses me off because I definitely remember Wilbon saying we weren't a "for real" team in the beginning of this year. They all jump on the bandwagon sooner or later.

A lot of people thought that. Even some of our fans thought that. It's realizing your mistake that counts and it's good that he did :D This far down the season, we are for real. Numbers and "run differential" just don't matter anymore. It's passion now.

They showed us a lot of love, it was awesome and never once did they mention attendance, awesome.

Yeah, but LebeRETARD -- the hometown guy -- said the Marlins are exciting because they play "no defense at all" and still manage to win because of the home runs. I hate when people generalize the Marlins defense like that. They may have the lowest fielding percentage, but that doesn't make it justifiable to say the team plays "no defense." Most of the Marlins have made appearances on web gems and top plays this year.

i have to say that is true, we really don't play much defense, the reason we aren't 10 games ahead in the division is because of our crappy defense

BAM!

What the Hell????

They showed us a lot of love, it was awesome and never once did they mention attendance, awesome.

Yeah, but LebeRETARD -- the hometown guy -- said the Marlins are exciting because they play "no defense at all" and still manage to win because of the home runs. yea I think saying we play no defense does not mean that we literally do not play any defense. But rather that since our defense is the worst in the league that we are pretty much as bad as it gets defensively. Which is hard to argue really. On the bright side, we know that most of the guys on our team are capable of great plays and great defense when they aren't making mental errors. So if they can get their sh*t together and strengthen their D they can still string together victories and succeed.

They showed us a lot of love, it was awesome and never once did they mention attendance, awesome.

Well of course he does'nt mean it literally..., but it does'nt matter to me. He is a Marlin fan, so I think that somewhat gives him the right to bash the team. Defense will only get worse though, once McPherson is called up.
