Future CF????

yes Miller's got good stuff, but he is extremely erratic in his throwing motion, his ball can go anywhere at any time. another question then arises, who is out of the rotation to let Miller back in next year? Olsen? Nolasco?

I think next year, we'll see Nolasco, JJ, Volstad, Sanchez, and Miller in the rotation, leaving Olsen out. Nothing against Olsen, but as far as stuff / potential, he has the worst of the group, imo.

Then in the pen, guys like Pinto and Lindstrom will stay. Kensing will get a spot for middle relief again. And we add Vanden Hurk & Tucker.

Then again...it's just a prediction, so it doesn't mean much. Just the way I see it.

Vanden Hurk? Really? here is my prediction for next years starting rotation

JJ

Anibal Sanchez

Scott Olsen

Ricky Nolasco

Chris Volstad

I am sorry, but i see Nolasco as "expendable" in the marlins eyes, they have built him to his highest point, and will trade him in the offseason for either some catching help, let him go, or trade him to get some more prospects

Well, that's cool. That's your opinion. Personally, I see the same thing you just said happening. Except it will be with Olsen, instead of Nolasco (my personal opinion).

As far as Vanden Hurk...yes Vanden Hurk. With a 94-95 mph fastball, and his curveball, he can be very good out of the bullpen. All it takes out of the bullpen, is 2 good pitches (much different from a starter, who faces the order more times). And Hurk is also developing a slider.

actually he would be a great option out of the pen, but i just don't see the marlins sticking wit him, I see him leaving in the offseason to go to the Pirates and start for them. Again just my opinion.

next season's starting Centerfielder will be de aza. ross probably won't be here and maybin might not be ready.

I sure hope De Aza isnt our CF. Slap hitters who cant hit MLB pitching should not be starting for an MLB team.

ichiro has been a slap hitter his whole career and i would say he's pretty good. as for hitting MLB pitching de aza hasn't even had a full season in the major leagues so we haven't fully seen what he can do.

i love De Aza, but he has been way to injury prone and Cody has proved himself, we also have Raynor and Maybin waiting to take over, so no way De Aza is the starter next year

Maybin might not be ready by OPening Day next year and him and Raynor are young so they can spend another year in the minors improving... Cody might be gone after this year so De Aza might be our Starting CF
