August 7, 200818 yr Tomorrow is a must win. I think this division will be decided on who can put together a 7-8 game win streak. I have looked over the Phillies schedule and I think that it's a little bit tougher then ours. We don't go on anymore long road trips out west and the Phillies play the Dodgers 4 straight games out in LA. At least we won't have to play against Manny. What part of the schedule do you see being a problem? The part we are currently playing (a total of two weeks).
August 7, 200818 yr Man this game sucked it was just boring. It just didnt seem like our night. Maybe if hemris hit went thorugh things would have been different. But we move on I guess and at least the mets lost. Jake looked like a stud at 1st today. Volstad i hope your on tomorrow. Glad we werent on ESPN casue we sucked.

August 7, 200818 yr On the bright side, I think we'll get solid starting pitching from now til the end of the season. On the down side, I think we overachieved offensively in the first half. However, the hitters are the same. The pitchers are different. The pitching is definitely going to change for the better. If the bats can prove they can start to duplicate what they've done already, or at least come close, we'll be fine.

Actually, after the homestand, they go out west for three against San Francisco and three against Arizona, followed by three against Atlanta at Turner Field (where they historically falter). Bah, aside from that it was a tough game last night, but that's baseball. On a lighter note, though, did you notice the girls who were in the "Kendrick's Hendrix" group? The girl with the "D" on her stomach was incredible!!! At least that was a pleasant sight during a relatively unpleasant game to watch.
