September 1, 200818 yr im suprised brett carroll has returned based on the fact i thought he was defo out for the season with the arm/shoulder (cant remember which) injury that he sustained. quite nice to see him back tho - i would like to see more of his bat to complement his strong arm

That's Pinto and I would guess if he irons things out/rehabs good then he comes back here when/if they decide to shut down Volstad and move Andrew to the rotation. If they want to bring up some guy/guys not on the 40 man it will be interesting to see what they do to make room.

Preserves the immediate future. Em........NO! When do experienced hitters ever get shut down to give 2 reserves a chance for a whole month? McPherson and Co will get the odd start here and there, or some pinch hitting roles off the bench but i would never imagine they will get extended playing time in September, barring injuries to starters of course
