Pudge and Castillo still haven't declared...

Featured Replies

we all know they will file eventually

i mean, do they have any other option?

Well some will look at this as still a week to go. I prefer to look at it as only a week to go.

most likely this is a sign that the two have their agents working on deals with the fish, why waste the time to file if you really believe you can sign before next week?

or at least thats what i WISH...

I wish that too

I know for sure castillo will file for Free Agency. Im still not sure about pudge. We might sign him and Lowell long term, since we are dumping Encarnacion. Pudge will stay.

Well, I really hope Pudge stays. He has been one of the major reasons why we got this far.

Curious, if they dont file for free agency they go under the terms of the original contract I guess?

I'm sure that Pudge and Luis are the first free agents that the Marlins are trying to resign. You need Pudge behind the plate and his leadership in the clubhouse and you need Luis speed and his defense in the field.

Hopefully everything works out. :thumbup
