And that game was VERY important to the Fish, even if it wasn't "playoff related". So important that Hanley wanted to play even if he had a broken hand.

Uggla is much better at slugging...Lui was better at getting on base. However, Dan Uggla showed major improvements in that area this year, with a .360 .OBP. If you want to compare them as players...it's debatable, considering Lui in his prime brought much in other areas of the game, with his speed and defense. But as hitters? The advantage is clearly Uggla's.

Even after I posted his stats with 2 outs and RISP (Which you half posted yourself, you didn't post the half that showed how great his OPS was), his stats when Late and Close and his stats with RISP? Why is he not "clutch"? It can't be because he doesn't hit well in those situation, because he does. It must be because he can't be "clutch" if you don't him.

Uggla is still a good player, just needs to get a better eye for the plate, also. Once we get rid of Uggla, most likely Coughlen is starting, meaning our defense gets worse, why would u want an area of weakness on this team to get even worse?

But we he didn't, and we are. its because he was injured, trust me he is a .275 BA, 35 HR, 90 RBI kind of hitter, u know what u are getting, and that is production. It is hard to find a second baseman that can put up that kind of production for the kind of money Uggla is making
