November 1, 200322 yr Are you kidding me!?!?! We did it again!!!!!! As usual, some real questionable calls go our way, but Penn State still didn't make the plays when they needed to be made. The "catch" by Hartsock was the worst of the bunch, but 35 yards is 35 yards, they had plenty of chances to stop them and didn't. 8-1, hosting Michigan State next week. :unsure : Oh, and Scott McMullen needs to start next week, he moves the offense.

November 2, 200322 yr We get all the calls because the Big 10 offices want Ohio State to win the championship every year, so they tell the officials to make all calls in our favor. It goes back to the deep rooted jealousy that the Big 10 officials have for Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Penn State, Iowa, and all the other members in their conference. In fact, if they had their way, Ohio State would be the only team IN the Big 10. The crappy calls have nothing to do with the fact that the Big 10 officials are absolutely horrible and, in fact, in reality, they're only horrible in Ohio State's favor. They've never cost Illinois games against Michigan or miss three holding calls on fake field goals for Iowa or the countless other moronic and ignorant calls those fools make. Ohio State doesn't get any more calls than anyone else, it just happens that they keep putting themselves in situations where the calls get magnified. Period. How about the punt 5 minutes earlier where the refs blew the whistle before the guy made the catch, which he promptly muffed. That's a horrible call, but it doesn't get mentioned because Penn State recovered it, while if Ohio State recovered it, it wouldn't have counted because the whistles blew. And yes, it is disgusting. I'm not defending the calls, at all. Especially that Hartsock "catch." That was ridiculous, flat-out, but Penn State still should have won the game. Ohio State was on the 35 after that with their backup quarterback, on the road, and Penn State couldn't stop them.
