How bout them PACKERS?!

Featured Replies

Haha! We won in the Humptey Dump!

We beat the Purple Pussies! GO PACK GO!

30-27!

How about that? The Packers turn their season around and they turn the Vikings around too!

The Pack will go on a winning streak now. If they can win in Minneapolis, they can win at Lambeau against Philly and in Tampa against the Yucs.

Then its smooth sailing with the 49ers, Lions, Bears, Chargers, Raiders, & Broncos.

The Pack can go 10-6/11-5 yet this year!

Whoo hoo!

We might lose in Tampa. But other then that theres no real scary games!

The Pack wins, the Vikes lose, the Fins lose, the Raiders lose, the Rams lose! Great day. Only bad part is that the Bears won.

Oh well we won! :thumbup :w00t

This team is 9-7 tops huh? Not when we win in the Metrodome. This just turned the Pack's season around. Before last night I would have said 7-9/8-8 would be the Pack's record. But now that we beat the Vikings who have just as bad of a defense as the Packers do in the Dome, this will send the Packers on a hot streak. Its such an emotional win. Dolphins fans, think of it this way, the Fins are 3-4, the Jets are 6-1. You guys need to save your season this week, or its over. But you have to go the New York where you have only won 1 of the last 7 times (isn't that it? i know you won there this year) and you go in there and beat them better then the score indicates. It would be like that. Listening to the Vikings comments and to their fans this loss is the start of something going downhill quickly over there. Think about it, the Vikes just lost 2 IN A ROW at the Dreaded Dome! Show me 3 games the Packers will lose the rest of the year...

Packers Remaining Schedule:

vs. Philadelphia (5-3)- Pack wins a close one

at. Tampa Bay (4-4)- Definite Packers Loss

vs. San Francisco (4-5)- We own the Niners

at. Detroit (2-6)- We own the Lions (then again who doesn't?)

vs. Chicago (3-5)- We own the Bears more then anyone.

at. San Diego (1-7)- The Chargers are pitiful and the Pack will roll over them

at. Oakland (2-6)- This is a sleeper game, I see it as dangerous. Toss up game.

vs. Denver (5-3)- Denver's never won at Lambeau before

Remaining Strength of Schedule: 26-42

10-6/11-5 is a DISTINCT possibility.

Vikings Remaining Schedule:

at. San Diego (1-7)- Blowout win for the Purple p***y Eaters

at. Oakland (2-6)- Tough game for them, cuz the Raiders own them, but the Vikes get this one.

vs. Detroit (2-6)- The Vikes blow away the Lions.

at. St. Louis (5-3)- This is where it picks up and goes downhill again, the Rams beat the sh*t outta the Vikes in a high scoring affair.

vs. Seattle (6-2)- The Seahawks own the Vikes. Toss Up.

at. Chicago (3-5)- The Vikes haven't won in Chicago since '98. That streak continues as the Bears own the Queens in Cago.

vs. Kansas City (8-0)- The Chiefs strut in and blow the Vikes off the turf.

at. Arizona (3-5)- The Vikes finally catch a break after a tough December by taking a much needed vacation.

Remaining Strength of Schedule: 30-34

So that makes it 10-6/11-5 for the Vikes. And if thats the case, then it comes down to a tie breaker.

Traditionally when the Queens start off hot, they cool down minus their 15-1 campaign in 1998.

Notice in 2000 the Vikes start off 7-1, finish 11-5, lose the N.Y. Giants 41-0 in the NFC title game.

Earlier in the Mid 1990's Vikes get off to a 5-1 start finish 9-7 miss the playoffs.

Also look at the strentgh of schedule the Pack and Vikes have played to this point of the year.

Green Bay:

6-2

2-6

3-5

3-5

6-2

8-0

5-3

Total: 33-23

Minnesota:

4-4

3-5

2-6

4-5

1-7

5-3

4-4

Total: 23-34

The Vikes have a 23-34 strength of schedule so far, and play a numerically weak, but deceptively strong strength of schedule.

The Pack has played a 33-23 strength of schedule which to be 4-4 right now is actually not to bad. But its the games they've lost that are real "doinkers". But now with a 26-42 strength of schedule left, it SHOULD be smooth sailing.

So notice the Packers have played a MUCH tougher schedule so far this year then the Queens have. And now the Queens are getting done with the soft part of their schedule and entering their tough part. And the Packers are getting done with the tough part of their schedule and entering the soft part of the schedule.

And now that the Pack split the series in half, that makes all the difference with an easy road ahead after Philly and Tampa. I think that now the division is wide open as does everyone else.

So Ramp just remember the Strength of schedule so far and how the Packers have had a way tougher schedule so far and the Queens have played a silky soft schedule.

And now one team enters the easy part of its schedule while the other enters the hard part.

Thats the whole reasoning of this. Look at the polar opposites the Pack and queens have had to this point. And look how they're about to switch in 2-3 weeks!

...wow...

The stars are alligned for Brett and company, now they have to seize the moment.

For those interested the Fins strength of Schedule so far this year has been...

27-36

A team as good as some around the country think the Fins could be should be 6-2 right now. But I'd take 5-3 as a Packer Backer ;) .

By the way, all the Fins losses have come at HOME.

ill make it simple: nobody cares phlub

How about them MARLINS?!?

Why start a post on this dumb win when you, There " fan " didnt think they were going to win ? And like Juanky said How about them Marlins, World Series Champions biyatch

I think my profile says it all as to who's running the show in the NFC these days. :cool

Until otherwise is done, the Bucs are running the show.

And who have the Cowboys beaten with a winning record? Nobody.

Thats a team I can make a REAL STRONG argument against with the Strength of Schedule.

And your damn right I picked the Pack to lose yesterday.

And the reason I'm so optimistic is the Packers have just won the one game which every year is a certain loss. They beat a good, but not as good as everyone thinks Vikings team at the Dome which is impressive considering our whoopsies at that place. That win is the whole reason for this optimism.

MarlinsPhenom then your obviously missing this here, becuase first there is no such thing as a "dumb win" in football. A win in San Diego counts just as much as a win in Kansas City on the standings card. The difference though is that a win against Kansas City can really get a team fired up and onto a hot streak. Which is what I believe will happen now with this win in the Dome. Trust me this is the biggest win for the Packers since beating the Bears last year and winning the division in the same game, and Sweeping the Bears in 2001 (the year those jokes went 13-3 and us 12-4), beating the Vikes in 2000 in the Dome, and the 1997 NFC championship game in San Francisco. It saved our season.

Oheeoh Magglio (Mags)...

Mags aren't you a Bears fan in the 1st place or are you a Boys fan now?

If nobody cares here about the Pack, the same could be said for the Giants, Niners, and all teams except the Dolphins then I guess if thats what your gonna say.

Frankly I could care less who wins the World series if its not the Twins and as long as it isn't the Yankees or White Sox. Congrats to the Marlins I'm extremely pleased to see them Champs and not those Damn Yankees. Go Marlins! :thumbup

I root for the bears because they are my hometown team, but really i'm a cowboys fan. When the 2 have played in the past, i'm a cowboy fan all the way. It's just nice to see that one of the 2 are actually good this year lol. We will find out a lot about the cowboys, because our 2nd half schedule is rough. I think the Pack will get a Wild Card, no idea about Tampa Bay or Dallas yet though lol.

again: nobody gives a f*** about how great the packers win was. mostly because your annoying us with all these long a** posts you write and your always bragging either about the pack or how much film you watch. seriously nobody cares

Impressive win yesterday for the Pack. They did it through the air and the ground. Favre was terrific.

P.S. I'm also a pack fan. I'm a huge fan of Favre and my favorite player Ahman Green.

damn farmer we never knew.

so one person cares...he's not annoying though

One win does not a season make.

And if they're not as good as everyone thinks, it's not that big of a deal anyway.

Thanks for posting their schedule though, you proved me wrong.

8-8.

bingo

frankly i believe that none of us care about the packers obviously. another thing they have been doing well but they need to try alot harder then that. what teams are we foucsing on really? first off we need the bucs to get there asses together are start winning and not f***ing around. 2 dolphins has been doing not bad but they to get up there. the bears won 2 weeks in a row. also who else are you guys going for? name your team.

Panthers are the team to beat in the NFC

The NFC sucks too bad to have a team to beat, and you will see that's the case when the so far this season sorry a** bucs go and win at carolina on sunday. The NFC champ this year will simply be a sacrificial lamb for the AFC champion in the Super Bowl.

The NFC sucks too bad to have a team to beat

it's funny, but true. i cant remember a time in my lifetime where that was the case. for the most part, i always thought of the NFC as having more powerful teams than the AFC. not the case anymore.
