Welcome to Kid Rock Field, home of the Detroit Tigers

Featured Replies

Kid Rock has announced that he has acquired the naming rights to the home field of American League baseball team the Detroit Tigers.

The Michigan native purchased the naming rights for an undisclosed sum, which will change the name from Comerica Park to Kid Rock Field.

He has also announced that he has teamed up with the Michigan Brewing Company to create a new line of beer, which will be the official beer of the Detroit Tigers.

"This has been a dream of mine for a long time, and with the banks in trouble it seemed like the right time for me to reach out to the fine people at Comerica Bank," Kid Rock said in a statement. "I've never been more excited for opening day, and I'm proud to be able to add my name to the legacy of my favorite baseball team."

Please be April Fools...

I would say thats a fairly safe bet lol.

However it could start an interesting trend - our new home could be called The Timbaland Arena or The Peoples Stadium (The Rock is also a Miami native) - we could layeth the smackdown on all the Mutts candy asses....

How about Marlon Wayans Field?

Marlon and Marlin are close enough

I like The Rock one..

I think with that name, we'd go perfect at home o_O

Can you smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell...what the Fish are cooking?

I really do like the name of "The Peoples Park" though...
