Fish #1 in FOX Power Rankings

I guess we split there again. I was a fan of Mitre, I'm all about getting outs a quickly as possible and allowing less guys to reach base in the process. JJ did both of those better than Johan. Sure, he took the less sexy route, but he took the more important route as well.

Until the 9th, there is not one bad thing you can say about JJ's performance.

He was racking up mad Q's, for sure

Couldn't agree with you more.

Why is there such a big debate over who pitched the better game?

It's simple: Johnson WON the game. Santana LOST the game. Their records show that.

WE'RE NUMBER 1! WE'RE NUMBER 1!

Santana didn't do a thing wrong, his defense cost him the game. If it wasn't for that error, we lose in the 9th.

Hamels, on the other hand, is worrying people.

Says who?

which are you contesting?

ESPN.com has at least one article talking about how the push for the WS last season may have worn out Hamels for the start of the season.

And Santana threw a gem on Sunday, is there any denying that?

I am contending that if it wasn't for that error, we would have been beaten by Santana.

Wait, wait, wait.

Rab: Did you mean to say that you are CONTENDING or CONTESTING?

Because if you are contesting FutGM's comment that we would've lost in the 9th if not for that error (which is what I think you meant), then you and DD had no reaon for the initial disagreement, as I see it. I could obviously be wrong, though.

Contesting, f'n Firefox spellchecker! I meant contesting.

And I don't think there was an initial disagreement.
