Cameron Maybin is moving up to the 2nd spot, where he has hit .259 this season (compared to his .189 average hitting 8th). Cody Ross, who is slumping like pretty much everyone else in the bottom half of the lineup, moves down to 8th. May 6, 200916 yr and other news this last game for Graham Taylor with marlins he going to be send down here report about it Carlos Martinez On His Way Up; Gaby Sanchez Sustains Knee Injury Right-handed reliever Carlos Martinez is on his way to South Florida to join up with the Marlins while first baseman Gaby Sanchez was already in town to see a doctor about a knee injury that is expected to put him out of action for at least four to six weeks. Martinez will be added to the 25-man roster either later tonight or tomorrow morning, with Graham Taylor expected to head back to the minors after tonight's start against the Braves. Martinez had appeared in 12 games for Triple A New Orleans and was 0-2 with a 4.09 ERA. He last appeared with the Marlins in 2007. Meanwhile, Sanchez injured his right knee in a collision at home plate on Tuesday with New Orleans. He was examined Tuesday in Miami and was awaiting the results of a MRI. Sources said he likely suffered a MCL sprain. Sanchez was off to a hot start. He was hitting .345 with four homers and 16 RBI for New Orleans.
