May 13, 200916 yr Sweet, thanks for the heads up The Marlins New Ballpark webcam is located on the roof of the Robert King High Towers Building, located at 1401 NW 7th Street. The camera, which was manufactured by "EarthCam", provides high-speed, Multi-Megapixel images that are archived for remote viewing. Click on "Camera Control" to the left of the main image and zoom in and out. You can also click on the archive tab to look back in time. The camera's orientation is from North to South and images are updated every 15 minutes. Enjoy! The new ballpark's footprint will have a south-east orientation, with unobstructed views of Miami's skyline made possible by six operable glass panels. The ballpark will be located on the parcel of land bordered by NW 6th Street to the north, NW 4th Street to the south, NW 16th Avenue to the west and NW 14th Avenue to the east. With a capacity of approximately 37,000 seats, the retractable roof, air-conditioned ballpark will be built on 928,000 square feet on the former Orange Bowl site. The ballpark will celebrate Opening Day in April 2012 and will attract a wide variety of events throughout the entire calendar year.

May 13, 200916 yr The bases look pretty close together eventhough they are not. It just looks odd. What is that building being built (big crane on the left side)? Those will be nice views of the stadium.

From my previous post in the Flags thread -- this is how the Downtown skyline will look like from behind the 1B line: And keep in mind, we're looking at it from ground level. The higher your seat, the better the view.
May 14, 200916 yr Author thats cool . is that the four seasons on the left ? it would be really awesome if we could see the bank of america tower the one that lights up during nite games . and the view is only going to get better , stadium is complete on 2012 three years later by 2015 we might be able to see the empire world towers ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire_World_Towers ) and one bayfront plaza ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Bayfront_Plaza ) which will be the tallest building in miami ever . i could just imagine our view then .
