Posted May 16, 200916 yr I thought he was the future 2B and Matt Dominguez was the future 3B of this team. Something im missing out on? Maybe there are more Ryan Zimmermans on the way. The Brewers' Mat Gamel, drafted in the fourth round in 2005, was called up to the big leagues Thursday. The Marlins' third baseman of the future, Chris Coghlan, a No. 1 pick (supplemental) in 2006, was recalled this week, and put in left field because there was a need. Maybe another David Wright has been drafted in the past five years. But, at third base, it's always so hard to tell. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=kurkjian_tim&id=4168545
May 16, 200916 yr I'm as surprised as you are. Maybe Kurkijan is assuming that we keep Uggla past this year. Other than that, I really don't know. He might possibly also think that Bonifacio be moved to 2nd, because it's his original position, but that thought process would just be ignorant.

May 17, 200916 yr so its gonna be catcher- skipworth, first- morrison, second- coghlan, third- dominguez, short- ramirez, left- hermida, center- maybin, right- stanton!!! damn thats gonna be a sick lineup cant wait!!!
May 17, 200916 yr Matt Dominguez says hi. Rather than saying hi he should worry about getting some hits.
May 17, 200916 yr Coghlan needs to get going or he's next to go down, which I don't see as a bad thing necessarily. Unless he's thick as a brick he will have picked up a lot just being here, and like Maybin will be better prepared to excel when he makes his way back. I don't think either (should Coghlan in fact be sent back to AAA) will be there all that long, the coaches will focus on the shortcomings in their games that were exposed at the MLB level and get them back up here.
